Why compare Geforce Now's free version to Sony's paid service? Getting something for free instead of paying is what most gamers would want
Me at the start of the video: “oh hey, Linus is taking a look at the same 3080 model I have, cool!” Me 3 seconds later 😳
give out temporary contracts to fans/viewers to do a scrapyard wars!
opera once said that I was using 9 out 8 GB of ram. yep it was worrying
I downloaded my graphics card from a reputable russian website
Who didn’t expect him to do this
When GPUs are so scarce you need to revert back to the old ages.
GeForce Now is great, it's just that the games library isn't the best. A lot of devs have decided to opt-out or pull out of the service and every week the new games being added are largely indie titles.
Onlive tried years ago. still not a thing
Dumb
Cloud gaming as a service will become a polished thing long before internet connections capable of utilizing it are delivered to the masses. For those of us who aren't in urban capitals with decent connections, we will just have to hug our old 970's and weep quietly.
1:45 I don't have Adroid 6
They hate their wives so much! Listen to them talk!! Holy crap Linus
I thought integreated graphics would finally be a discussion topic.
If you live outside of a city, rural, this does not apply to you lol
Stadia is actually free but you have to purchase games through them. The subscription is to play their free games as long as you continue to pay the subscription.
First you crossover with one of my favorite channels, then you review music tech?? Loving it
Really, why is not parsec + paperspace on the video?
Lol made my head hurt there bot car guys breath its ok to laugh at them 🤣
Lithium? I don't think so. That would be a nickel metal hydride battery
Was Linus off his meds for this video?
Not gonna lie, was scared for the GPU there
Lol cloud gaming isn't quite where it needs to be my RX5700XT still beats em while im waiting for a rx6800
Use your intergeated graphics. Intel hd 630 is good
When Linus throw the GPU, I laughed so hard and play that 10x!
You can buy a used gpu for like $80. For example R9 280, GTX750Ti, GTX680Ti. Heck, if you're lucky, you can get an RX570 for $80.
cries in r7 260x
One question though, rocket league is not worth a 1050ti, what about a streaming service with artifacts and even worse quality.
Linus with the humble brag spreading those legs like that for the camera.
lets use a car radiator without asking a car guy, then instal it upside down. should have gotten Linus's civic radiator for a manual, smaller and less ports.
Old and busted: using a radiator to dissipate heat from a water cooling loop. New hotness: Hooking your water cooling to your shower to make use of the warm water.
What is the name that game at 14:08 ?
My wifi say NO!
every developing country in the world: no, i dont think i will
why would you not just use plumbers tape in addition to your ghetto solution? Would have worked
In fairness to Sony, I haven't seen their newer UIs, but from what I remember, Sony's UI on the software front has always sucked. They've made some great and intuitive UI's on the hardware side of things for quite some time, but on the software side, not so much.
I would NOT be promoting Stadia as a stopgap till you get your graphics card, because the diference is that, with GeForce Now, once you get your new shinny graphics cards, you can play with the game you purchased in YOUR computers with that new card... Meanwhile, if you bought the game in Stadia, when you get your new card, you'll find out you CAN NOT use that game in your computer... only tru Stadia... and you then need to buy the game AGAIN, in order for you to run it in local hardware... making Stadia a terrible, if not right out unviable option as a stopgap.
This is good, but not as crazy as the Bong cooler.
I'll keep my xbox series X thanks. way better than cloud gaming.
I wanna watch a skit of two engineers repairing a starship engine and it's just a callback to this.
I'm upset this new orcs must die is only on stadia. Let me play it with my powerful pc
Thought for sure it was going to be a video about maybe using a APU, like the ones in Ryzen processors.
Make a gpu virtualization video
I thought you were going to test Intel UHD 750....
smacked by a pro-pain torch! no amateur equipment here! i could only dream of having access to your toys, but man, i can feel at home already with your tool shop and logistics. leme know if you need any help in lo-tek. ain't no school like the old school. =^-^=
Hey, Linus, how many times did you throw the sli bridge? hahaha
I'd like to let you know that using old car or motor radiators was the norm in DIY watercooling 20 years ago! I still have my first botched together radiators, been using my first one to cool condenser coolant :D
I don't usually say this, but the torso camera shots of Linus were dogshit. They have a subtle weird depth perception illusion where Linus's head was out of proportion to his body.
Linus: DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD TO GET THISSS ALSO HE: **DROPS THE GRAPHICS CARD 10 BALD EAGLES AWAY**
I'm going to call this 'going full Hunter S Thompson'. Gonzo hardware building at it's finest.
Yeah, cloud gaming lived up to my expectations. It's every bit as bad as I thought it would be. I'll stick to older games and newer games that are lighter on the system requirements that I can run and my consoles for now. I will quit being a gamer before I do anything with cloud options. If they're that bad on Linus's super high speed connection he has there, it'll be far worse on my low speed connection here. Cloud gaming just doesn't work and it will never work with how the Internet and the crappy ISPs run in North America right now.
No IPS screen, seems like a waste to go to all that effort and expense only to no use an IPS screen.
*Cries in LATAM
I dont like cloud gaming as a replacement I wouldve just bought a gaming laptop how about that for a video idea?
shave the beard
Have you ever wondered what the end product would look like, if The Verge did an instructional video on watercooling? Now you know.
how much adderal did linus snort before starting this stream
so i broke my spacebar on my G513 i need help i cant find the right fit
I'd say just use a freaking air conditioner like Tech Ingredients did...
2:47 Linus with man voice
Ps now works alright for me. I have not seen it do anything like Linus got
“Despite making it easier to watch your anime music videos while dropping filthy casuals on cod”
Good thing I don’t have any
silver
My 1060 still going strong
Why did you show full screen image when you showed the seizure warning for Ape Escape on PS Now but other games you showed the wide shot of Linus playing on the TV? Its almost as if you guys did that on purpose. That's messed up if you ask me. You should have kept it like at 10:20 of the apes walking to the bananas and Linus watching it.
No seriously dislike lol
I wanna stttay
It's bad enough I can't get a gpu, but I can't even get a prebuilt either
I think you mean Playstation “Now”
For call of duty Warzone you do
I technically have a graphics card, but I don't practically have a graphics card, if you know what I mean
3000 to spend on a gaming pc, yah never !!!
Stadia is much better than it gets credit for tbh. So what if they stopped game development. I don't see how it's that big of a problem
0:12 just hoping no money was wasted while harming the GPU 😂😂😂
